In 2017 the hospital received a royal title following approval from Her Majesty the Queen in recognition of its pioneering history and continued commitment to developing treatments of the future.

Our perfusion department is relocating with Royal Papworth Hospital to itís custom-built facility, situated on the world class Cambridge Biomedical Campus, in September 2018. The campus is situated within a couple of miles of the city centre and Cambridge offers many attractions from a wide range of pubs and restaurants to a vibrant historical city with live performance venues and several fairs and festivals.

Our department is progressive and delivers the complete range of adult cardio-thoracic procedures, using the very latest techniques and equipment. Royal Papworth Hospital is a world leader in transplants, VADs and ECMO and as their perfusion team we have a unique involvement. Previous experience of a wide range of perfusion techniques is desirable, however comprehensive training will be provided by our teaching team.

CPS is at the forefront of research and the successful applicant would be encouraged to be involved in our extensive portfolio. As a private company we are able to offer full benefits programme, flexible working and a generous pension along with locum opportunities.
