The Clinical Perfusion Service at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary islooking to appoint a Chief Clinical Perfusionist.

The service provides a comprehensive range of cardiac services,planned and emergency, to adult patients including ECMO, intra-aortic balloonpumping and intra-operative cell salvage.

As Chief Perfusionist you will be responsible and accountable forthe leadership of all aspects of the Clinical Perfusion Service for NHSGrampian and the North of Scotland, including delivery of a 24-hour on-callNorth of Scotland service.

Eligible candidates will:

·        Be registered with the College of Clinical Perfusion Scientists ofGreat Britain and Ireland

·        Be fully accredited by the Society of Clinical PerfusionScientists of Great Britain and Ireland

·        Demonstrate significant clinical experience acquired postaccreditation as a Senior, Deputy or Chief Clinical Perfusionist

·        Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to the Society of ClinicalPerfusion 7Scientists professional and clinical policies, both national andlocal

·        Demonstrate motivational leadership skills, excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability and experience to leadin the delivery of a highly       specialisedclinical perfusion service

·        Have proven highly specialist clinical knowledge gained viaadvanced theoretical and practical study

·        Be enthusiastic, self motivated with the ability to problem solve,negotiate and influence

·        Have the ability to lead in the development of strategies formanagement and delivery of high quality care with the multidisciplinary team

·        Be able to work with the multi-disciplinary team with aresponsible, well organised and proactive approach

Anattractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successfulcandidates.
