How do I submit and article for potential publication in the Perfusionist?

We invite articles from Clinical Perfusion Scientists in Great Britain and Ireland and overseas as well as other health professionals with an interest in cardiac surgery and perfusion. Please contact the editor by clicking HERE. - your submitted articles will be considered for publication.

How do I submit a safety issue to the Safety Committee?

We are sorry to hear you have had a safety issue. It is our aim to initially provide a focal point for the reporting of perfusion safety related incidents and subsequently disseminate information in a timely manner to our membership to help provide a safe environment for the patients we treat. Please complete the online safety form by clicking HERE. We will contact you once the Safety Committee has reviewed your submission.

CCPS QUESTIONS

I am trying to find if a Clinical Perfusion Scientist is registered with the College of Clinical Perfusion Scientists of Great Britain and Ireland - how do I do this?

The College of Clinical Perfusion Scientists (CCPS) of Great Britain and Ireland keeps a voluntary register of all qualified clinical perfusion scientists from Great Britain and Ireland who are registered with the CCPS. Please use our search HERE.

AGM QUESTIONS

I am an ECMO nurse and would like to submit an abstract to present at your AGM - is this possible?

Our diverse AGM has speakers from all aspects of cardiac surgery and perfusion. If you would like to have your abstract considered for this years AGM, please contact us HERE.

I am an overseas Clinical Perfusion Scientist - can I attend your AGM?

We welcome overseas delegates and speakers (abstract acceptance depending) to attend our AGM. While the SCPS does not directly get involved with travel visa applications for delegates travelling from abroad, we are happy to produce a PDF invitation letter which can be included as a supporting document.
