As an autonomous practitioner the Clinical Perfusionist should offer a comprehensive specialist clinical and technical perfusion service during both routine and emergency procedures as a vital member of the multidisciplinary team during cardiac surgery. In addition to continued care for patients requiring mechanical circulatory support in intensive care. The Clinical Perfusionist will offer service provision for acute, vascular, trauma and obstetrics blood procurement.  

There are 2 x Clinical Perfusionist Posts (Band 7), and a waiting list shall be created for 12 months as part of the recruitment exercise.
