Centrifugal Head noise

DETAILS OF INCIDENT

Noted loud humming noise when primed, noticeable vibration of inlet and outlet tubing. When revs reduced to 1200rpm, obvious movement of assembly within pump head.

DETAILS OF INJURY TO PATIENT

None

TYPE OF DEVICE/MANUFACTURER

This has been previously noted within the unit. Liva Nova have been made aware of each occurence.

ACTION TAKEN

Pump head changed out.
